"The quickest way into the universe is through the wilderness. Happy Earth Day"
I had a half day shoot in Baltimore yesterday, so I decided to continue on and make a day of it. I headed to Great Falls National Park. I had never been before. It was the perfect 70 degree day, and the crowds were out. I chose to go hiking, rather than battle for a spot at the falls look out points. The light put on quite a show before a thunderstorm rolled in around sunset and I went home.
The longest sunset ever. It must have lasted three hours. The light looks so peaceful, you can hardly tell there were 30mph winds swirling about the entire length of the sunset.
The sky was on fire, and the air was pleasant. It looked like the apocalypse, but it felt like heaven.
